The CnR Rules!
There are 3 main rules and 3 main goals and 3 explanations of the game.
Rules:
1. No SCORING
2. No Crouch Killing
3. No Cussing or using inappropriate language (inappropriate language is at the discretion of the admin in the server)
Goals:
1. To capture all the Cops or Robbers ALIVE by making them surrender their will to fight.
2. To work together in each server in order to complete the 1st goal.
3. To help teach and interact with those players who do not know Cops and Robbers.
Explanations:
1.
What is a surrender? It is a player who completely crouches to the
ground and ceases fire on the other player, doing this means that they
player knows he has been captured and must continue to the other teams
jail, which is located under the flag. Unless otherwise specified by
your captor, you must crouch all the way there. Once in jail, you
cannot leave on your own, nor can you do a “jailbreak”, you must wait
for a member from your team to come RESCUE you, meaning you cant leave
unless you have a clear way of escape. You cannot kill a guard unless
you are helping your rescuer, and guards cannot kill their prisoners
when they are IN jail.

Scoring is not permitted at all, mainly because that's not the point of
the game. If you are holding the flag, you CANNOT leave the base in
which you are taking the flag from. Doing this would make the admins
assume that you plan on scoring with it, and we will kick you from the
server. You are allowed to hold the flag as long as you don't leave the
base in which you took it from.

This game mode is well known but we still have more and more new people
come in everyday, your easily going to get annoyed by the players who
don't follow these well known rules. But feel free to teach them and
give them our rules website at cnrrules.webs.com
All other rules and expectations are at the discretion of the admin of the server based on different situations. Which include:
Teleporter blocking
Inappropriate language (not cuss words but words like gay,fag,nig***, and so forth)
Arguing on the server
Kicking individuals for suspected rule breaking without actual visual proof.
Kickable offenses:
Killing a captured prisoner/killing a guard when captured
Cussing
Crouch killing
Taking the flag out of the base
Spamming the server
Not listening to the admin
Anything else at the discretion of the server admin
Bannable offenses
Scoring
Insulting the server
Insulting an Admin

The CnR History
The Creation of CnR
Past to August 2008- Chief and Anger were part of a different clan that fell through. Chief joined [CR] and passed on his interest of Cops and Robbers to Anger. Using a server that Anger purchased, Chief ran Cops and Robbers on it. It was an immediate hit. Anger also became interested in the game and joined [CR] as well.
August 2008 to September 2008- Chief and Anger formed the [CR] Clan, which quickly started gaining members. With the rapidly growing clan, Chief handed down his leadership role to Anger due to outside commitments, and the clan continued to grow. However, the [CR] community is a group of non-affiliated Cops and Robbers lovers, so the name was changed to the [CnR] Clan in order to not get the two confused. THE BIRTH OF CnR! With the help of Ghost, a high-ranking member of the community, the [CnR] clan began setting up a system, with rules, guidelines, policies. Setting up a form of government, and a way of communication, gave the clan a boost into becoming not just a clan in a game, but a way of life.
September 2008 to December 2008- With all these new ideas, from both the original leaders and mentors, a WetPaint site was formed to not only be a place to exchange information to the clan, but as a place for the clan to mingle and get to know other clan mates. This put the clan into overdrive mode, where we were able to set up clear paths to clear answers, regarding anything from, what are the rules to the correct person to go to for help. Not only did it allow us to all meet in one location, but it gave us a way for new members to join, and quickly get acquainted with the new members.
January 2009- Of course with all this new hype of the awesome [CnR] clan, players wanted to join left and right. With ideas from Chief and Sarge, a recruitment site as set up. Soon after creation and utilization, this site became unanimous for joining [CnR]. We soon had to set up, tests, and other forms of recruitment in order to keep the people who were just joining because it was something to do, out. This was so successful that we used the same method for Server Admin positions. It also played out very well, as it brought in many new Server Admins to help moderate the servers. We were in high time now!
February 2009- Unfortunately, since the [CnR] Clan was doing amazingly well, other clans were threatened when their servers were no longer as filled as usual. They sent hackers to infiltrate our servers, they got through here and there but we were able to knock them back. And then one got through to our WetPaint site and everything was deleted. After a few days, with the help of Anger and Techno, the site was broke back to life, with everything broke back into place. Everyone came back and the site continued as usual. We continued to operate without hesitation. The [CnR] Clan cannot be intimidated!
February 2009 to March 2009- The clan was built back up, more servers were formed, and the clan continued to grow into one of the most influential clans in all of Halo. During this time, the Board of Directors was formed in order to spread the decision making from one person to 7 people. 6 people filled those positions with the 7th being the clan. During this time, the clan continued to rebuild itself and set up new security protocols, also setting up outside forums for the clan to use and the Server Admins to leave important information.
